How to Play
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Lunchtable Trading Card Game (LunchTable TCG) is a strategic card battle game where players summon creatures, cast spells, and activate traps to defeat their opponent.
Game Setup
Section titled “Game Setup”Each player starts with:
- 20 Life Points
- 40-60 card deck (no more than 3 copies of any card)
- 5 cards in opening hand
- 5 Mana to spend each turn (refreshes)
The Battlefield

Turn Structure
Section titled “Turn Structure”-
Draw Phase
Draw 1 card from your deck. (Skip on first turn for player 1)

Main Phase 1
- Summon creatures (costs mana)
- Set trap cards face-down
- Cast spell cards
- Activate creature abilities

Battle Phase
- Declare attackers
- Opponent can activate traps
- Resolve combat damage

Main Phase 2
- Additional summons or spells
- Set more traps

End Phase
- Discard down to 7 cards if over hand limit
- End-of-turn effects trigger
Combat
Section titled “Combat”Attacking
Section titled “Attacking”- Declare attacker - Tap (turn sideways) an untapped creature
- Declare target - Attack opponent directly OR attack their creature
- Damage resolution:
- Creature vs Creature: Compare ATK values, lower ATK creature is destroyed
- Direct attack: Deal ATK damage to opponent’s Life Points
Combat Example
Section titled “Combat Example”Your Fire Drake (ATK 1500) attacks opponent’s Stone Golem (ATK 1200).
Stone Golem is destroyed because 1500 > 1200. Fire Drake survives.
If you attacked directly instead, opponent would lose 1500 Life Points.
Mana System
Section titled “Mana System”Every turn you have 5 Mana to spend:

| Trap Cards | 0 (set free, activation may cost) |
Card Abilities
Section titled “Card Abilities”Creatures can have special abilities:
- On Summon - Triggers when the creature enters play
- On Attack - Triggers when declaring an attack
- On Destroy - Triggers when sent to graveyard
- Passive - Always active while on field
- Activated - Pay a cost to use (tap, discard, mana)
Winning the Game
Section titled “Winning the Game”You win if:
- ✅ Opponent’s Life Points reach 0
- ✅ Opponent cannot draw a card (deck out)
- ✅ Special win condition card effect
You lose if:
- ❌ Your Life Points reach 0
- ❌ You cannot draw when required
- ❌ You surrender
