Card Types
Overview
Section titled “Overview”LunchTable TCG features three main card types, each serving a unique strategic purpose on the battlefield.
Creatures
Section titled “Creatures”Creatures are the backbone of your army. They attack opponents and defend your Life Points.
Creature Stats
Section titled “Creature Stats”| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Cost | Mana required to summon |
| ATK | Attack power - damage dealt in combat |
| HP | Health points - damage creature can take |
| Archetype | Faction affinity (Infernal Dragons, Necro Empire, etc.) |
Summoning Creatures
Section titled “Summoning Creatures”- Pay the mana cost during Main Phase
- Place creature in an empty Creature Zone
- Creature has summoning sickness - cannot attack this turn
Creature Abilities
Section titled “Creature Abilities”Creatures can have various ability types:
Activates automatically when a condition is met.
Example: “When this creature enters the battlefield, draw 1 card.”
Pay a cost to activate manually.
Example: “Tap, pay 2 mana: Deal 3 damage to target creature.”
Always active while the creature is on the field.
Example: “Your other Ember creatures get +1 ATK.”
Modifies game rules.
Example: “Opponents cannot target this creature with spells.”
Spells
Section titled “Spells”Spells are one-time effects that go to the graveyard after use.
Casting Spells
Section titled “Casting Spells”- Pay the mana cost during Main Phase
- Declare targets (if any)
- Resolve the effect
- Spell goes to graveyard
Spell Categories
Section titled “Spell Categories”| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Damage | Deal direct damage to creatures or players |
| Healing | Restore Life Points or HP |
| Buff | Boost creature stats temporarily |
| Debuff | Weaken enemy creatures |
| Draw | Draw additional cards |
| Removal | Destroy or exile cards |
Traps are face-down cards that activate when triggered by specific conditions.
Setting Traps
Section titled “Setting Traps”- Set trap face-down during Main Phase (costs no mana)
- Trap cannot activate the turn it is set
- When trigger condition is met, you may activate the trap
- Trap goes to graveyard after resolving
Trap Timing
Section titled “Trap Timing”Common Trap Types
Section titled “Common Trap Types”| Type | Trigger | Effect |

| Counter | When opponent casts a spell | Negate the spell |
| Defensive | When opponent attacks | Reduce or negate damage |
| Offensive | When you attack | Boost your attack |
| Removal | When creature enters | Destroy the creature |
Card Rarity
Section titled “Card Rarity”Cards come in different rarities, affecting their power level and availability:

| ⚪ Common | Basic cards, foundation of most decks |
| 🟢 Uncommon | Slightly stronger effects |
| 🔵 Rare | Powerful cards with unique abilities |
| 🟣 Epic | Game-changing effects |
| 🟡 Legendary | Extremely powerful, limit 1 per deck |
