Card Archetypes
Section titled “Card Archetypes”Every card in LunchTable TCG belongs to an archetype - a themed faction with unique abilities and playstyles. Building a deck around a single archetype unlocks powerful synergies.
Infernal Dragons
Section titled “ Infernal Dragons”Playstyle: Aggressive, high damage, burn effects
The Infernal Dragons bring fire and fury to the battlefield. Their creatures grow stronger as they deal damage, and their spells leave enemies scorched.
Key Mechanics:
- Burn damage over time
- Attack buffs when dealing damage
- Direct damage spells
Abyssal Depths
Section titled “ Abyssal Depths”Playstyle: Control, sea creatures, drowning mechanics
From the darkest ocean trenches come the Abyssal creatures. They specialize in wearing down opponents and controlling the board.
Key Mechanics:
- Drown (disable) enemy creatures
- Deep sea horrors with scaling power
- Resource denial
Iron Legion
Section titled “ Iron Legion”Playstyle: Defensive, mechanical, armor stacking
The Iron Legion fields an army of constructs and war machines. They build impenetrable defenses and grind out victories.
Key Mechanics:
- Armor and damage reduction
- Construct synergies
- Formation bonuses
Necro Empire
Section titled “ Necro Empire”Playstyle: Recursion, sacrifice, undead armies
The Necro Empire raises the dead and turns losses into advantages. Every fallen creature can rise again.
Key Mechanics:
- Revive destroyed creatures
- Sacrifice for powerful effects
- Growing undead hordes
Nature Spirits
Section titled “ Nature Spirits”Playstyle: Growth, healing, overwhelming numbers
The Nature Spirits call upon forest guardians and regenerating flora. They start slow but become unstoppable.
Key Mechanics:
- Healing and regeneration
- Creature buffs over time
- Token generation
Storm Elementals
Section titled “ Storm Elementals”Playstyle: Burst damage, chain lightning, unpredictable
Storm Elementals harness lightning and tempests. They deal massive damage in spectacular bursts.
Key Mechanics:
- Chain damage to multiple targets
- Random but powerful effects
- Spell amplification
Shadow Assassins
Section titled “ Shadow Assassins”Playstyle: Stealth, single-target removal, combo chains
Shadow Assassins strike from the darkness. They excel at eliminating key threats and chaining abilities.
Key Mechanics:
- Stealth and ambush
- Targeted removal
- Combo sequences
Celestial Guardians
Section titled “ Celestial Guardians”Playstyle: Protection, divine shields, board-wide buffs
The Celestial Guardians bring holy light to protect allies. They create unbreakable defenses and empower their forces.
Key Mechanics:
- Divine shields
- Area buffs
- Damage prevention
Arcane Mages
Section titled “ Arcane Mages”Playstyle: Spell-focused, card advantage, flexibility
Arcane Mages wield pure magical energy. They draw cards, counter threats, and adapt to any situation.
Key Mechanics:
- Card draw and selection
- Spell synergies
- Counterspells
Mechanical Constructs

Mechanical Constructs build and upgrade their forces. Each piece makes the whole stronger.

Neutral

Neutral cards have no archetype allegiance. They fit in any deck and provide consistent utility.
Benefits:
- Universal compatibility
- Fills gaps in any strategy
- Reliable baseline effects
Building Around Archetypes
Section titled “Building Around Archetypes”Maximum synergy. Build with 90%+ cards from one archetype.
Benefits:
- All synergies active
- Consistent game plan
- Powerful archetype-specific bonuses
Flexible power. Combine two complementary archetypes.
Popular combinations:
- Infernal Dragons + Storm Elementals: Maximum burst damage
- Necro Empire + Shadow Assassins: Relentless aggression
- Celestial Guardians + Nature Spirits: Unkillable sustain
Targeted additions. Add 5-10 cards from another archetype for specific answers.
When to splash:
